BIOGRAPHY

Early Life

Callisto was born in Verona, Italy. Her mother was a waitress and her father a car mechanic. At the age of twelve, Callisto lost her mother to an accident. Her father was a drunkard and she had never been very close to him. After a few years her father remarried a young tramp with whom Callisto had trouble getting along with. Their constant quarreling finally erupted on Callisto’s eighteenth birthday into a full-blown fight in the house. Callisto beat up her stepmother so badly that fearing severe punishment from her father she ran away from home and never returned. Using her good looks, she quickly latched onto wealthy men and even used them as sponsors to realize her childhood dream of becoming a race car driver. A chance encounter with Stefanos Cosse (the owner of the IWFC) in 2006 eventually led her to the sport of female combat.

Fighting Style

A perennial seducer of men, Callisto is virtually hated by every woman in the IWFC. She grew up in the rough streets of Verona and was certainly no stranger to gang fights. While she never received any formal training in combat sports, her viciousness in a fight often more than made up for the lack of technical skills. Pugnacious by nature, Callisto relishes getting into catfights with other women. She loves to overwhelm her opponent using her comparatively large size. But her hard-hitting style can work against her if an experienced fighter has the patience and the skills to stretch the fight and wear her out.

Career in the IWFC

While working as a car mechanic in Foxton in the spring of 2006, Callisto met Stefanos Cosse and Réka Molnár who came to get her car inspected. A misunderstanding led to a scuffle between these two feisty vixens, and Callisto more than held her own against Réka who was one of the top fighters in Stefanos’ underground fight club at the time. Impressed, Stefanos tried to persuade Callisto to join the club. In June of the same year, Callisto was invited to Stefanos’ summer pool party. Anxious to establish herself in the fight club, she challenged Yulia Koroleva to a catfight. The Russian had already by then emerged as a dominant fighter and she made short work of Callisto, submitting her in front of all other women. (See “The Italian Job”)

The loss to Yulia didn’t discourage Callisto, however. It only stoked the fire inside her as she went on to compete regularly in Stefano Cosse’s underground fight club between 2006 and 2008.

In the beginning of 2009, Stefanos Cosse transformed his club into the IWFC (International Women’s Fight Club). Callisto fought in the Queen of the Night tournament which saw Yulia Koroleva being crowned the first ever IWFC champion. On March 29, 2009 the American fighter Lorna Fiscella, who had lost an ugly fight to Callisto in the tournament, sought revenge against the Italian brunette, and the two fought an impromptu catfight in the wrestling pit while still in their dress and pantyhose. Callisto prevailed again, submitting the feisty blonde with a painful body-scissor. Then on May 17 she was pitted against the former German wrestling champion Annelies Van Elsen. It was a very even match fought down to the wire when both fighters locked each other in mutual body-scissors, but Callisto made Annelies tap out first. During the 2009 IWFC summer party on June 7, Callisto and Paige Malonga bullied Netherlands’ Heidi Driegen into a fight. After beating the poor Dutch blonde, Callisto dragged her into the pool, drowned her, and choked her out cold. When Paige saw the fight had gone too far and tried to stop the abuse, Callisto turned on her and the two brunettes started another ferocious brawl which saw the fatigued Italian finally yielding to her friend. (See “Drown Her Out”) On July 12 Callisto sought revenge against Paige in the first ever IWFC shootfight where she ultimately submitted her American friend with a hand-over-mouth smother, proving to her that she was the better woman. Shortly after, Callisto tried to seduce Kimberly Steele‘s man. Kimberly had been dating Stefanos Cosse’s younger brother Alexandros who was really into catfights. In an effort to win him over Callisto challenged Kimberly to a lingerie fight in front of Alexandros, to which the American blonde was more than willing to oblige. On August 2 the two women fought in an apartment setting and Kimberly prevailed. She destroyed the Italian brunette and made her howl out her surrender. Embarrassed after this defeat Callisto left the IWFC to race cars around the world for the next year and a half.

In 2011, Callisto came back to the IWFC and Sonia Gilliéron of Switzerland volunteered to “interview” her on April 3. Sonia sought revenge for her friend Heidi Driegen who retired from the catfighting world after Callisto obliterated her in the pool. The Swiss blonde goaded Callisto into a fight in the office, but unfortunately for her she was totally trounced just the same. Still looking to get the man she wanted, Callisto tried to steal Alexandros Cosse again, only this time from his new Spanish girlfriend Catalina Yurena Ferrer. On May 22 Callisto fought Catalina in another lingerie catfight. She proved herself the superior woman this time by dismantling Catalina before Alexandros’ very eyes until she was but a rag doll. Utterly humiliated, Catalina sought revenge against Callisto three weeks later on June 12 at the IWFC summer pool party. These two tussled naked on grass before all the guests and Callisto again reduced Catalina to a helpless sobbing mess, submitting her in front of everyone and forcing the battered Spaniard to relinquish her claim to Alexandros for good. After successfully getting the man she wanted, Callisto participated in the IWFC’s first ever beach volleyball tournament on July 17 when she teamed up Australia’s Stephanie Rose to face the team of Tülin Karatay and Lorna Fiscella. The girls traded verbal jabs after the game and quickly the situation escalated into an all-out brawl. Callisto eventually emerged victorious by subduing Tülin and Lorna one after the other. (See “Mayhem on the Beach”) On October 16 Callisto faced Germany’s Annelies Van Elsen again in rematch from two years ago. If their previous match was a closely fought contest, Callisto left no doubt who was the better woman in this fight as she dominated Annelies, evening tying her to the ring post after her victory. At the end of the season Callisto was voted 2011’s Hottest Fighter of the Year by the fans.

Callisto’s 2012 season began when she was pitted against Belén Zenere of Argentina on April 8. While she was widely expected to win this fight, Callisto was actually defeated by her opponent via a quick five-count pin. After the match, the incensed Italian viciously  attacked Belén and totally laid waste to her. Reverting back to her old habits, Callisto spent the next few months flirting with Charlotte Cumming‘s man Jeff. A catfight erupted between Callisto and Charlotte on July 1 when the Brit found Callisto alone with Jeff in his house. While Charlotte furiously pounded the man-stealing Italian, Callisto still proved a better catfighter as she eventually choked out the raging blonde and left her stretched out naked in the backyard. (See “He’s My Man”) A shootfighting grudge match was set up between Callisto and Charlotte a month later on August 5, and the fight was also a number-one contendership match for the IWFC title. Although Callisto prevailed again in the third round, Charlotte attacked her after the match and brutally choked her unconscious. Callisto was left convulsing uncontrollably in the middle of the ring and hospitalized for a week. (See “The Grudge”) Finally on October 28 Callisto faced the IWFC champion Yulia Koroleva of Russia for the title. She took the fight right to the champion and actually dominated her for most of the match. The ending was controversial when Yulia tackled an unsuspecting Callisto in a blitzkrieg while she was fixing her bikini bottom which came loose between her legs. Yulia pinned her to the mat and choked her out with hand straps, thus retraining her championship. (See “The Russian Blitz”)

On March 17, 2013 Callisto began the new season against the former IWFC champion Maia Soulioti of Greece. The match saw a listless Callisto being dominated as she just couldn’t snap out of the slump she had gotten herself into after losing in last season’s championship fight. Maia easily won the match 3 falls to nil. Then on May 5 Callisto was asked to interview a Russian newcomer Tatiana Lescova. Tatiana put up a fierce office catfight almost took the Italian by surprise, but in the end Callisto’s experience won out as she subdued the Russian with a rear-naked choke hold that would’ve put her out if she hadn’t tapped. Following the victory, Callisto was pitted in a shootfight against Sweden’s Freja Jörgensen who had just returned to the IWFC after suffering a neck injury in 2012. Callisto methodically wore down her opponent by attacking her weak spot and even made Freja cry in pain. Just as Callisto thought she had the match under her control, Freja surprised her by catching her in a figure-four neck-scissor that quickly rendered the cocky Italian unconscious in the middle of the ring. (See “Tears of Pain”) After that devastating loss, Callisto again redeemed herself with a win over Lorna Fiscella on September 22. It was the third straight time she defeated the American fighter in her career.

Callisto’s first wrestling match in the 2014 season was against Stephanie Rose on March 23. It was a long intense fight that finally saw the Australian blonde tapping out at the edge of the pit after being crushed in a tight body-scissor. The win gave Callisto a chance to compete for the number-one contendership to the IWFC title. On June 1, she faced Sonia Gilliéron of Switzerland, who held a long grudge against her. It was a vicious shootfight with both women giving all they got, but in the end Callisto succumbs again to a ruthless choke by hand wraps that almost rendered her unconscious, reminiscent of her loss in the championship fight at the end of 2012. (See “A Long Time Coming”) Frustrated, Callisto did not fight for the remainder of the season until on September 14 she got into an altercation with Stefanos Cosse’s secretary Gwen Lindell who was not a fighter in the IWFC. She brutally assaulted the woman, and the incident almost got her suspended from the club.
